Michael Owen has given his prediction for the games between Manchester United and Swansea aside from the Arsenal’s away game against Stoke city.
The former England striker has been working as a pundit on several fronts. He says that Manchester United can be backed to get a comfortable victory over Swansea City. The Red Devils started the campaign with a brilliant win over West Ham at Old Trafford. Even though United have struggled against Swansea in the past, Owen sees that the Red Devils now come into the game with an extremely strong squad capable of overcoming any opponent.
The Reds have been rated as the favourite to win the league title. Owen watched Swansea failed to have a shot on target in the opening match against Southampton, and he says that Paul Clement’s team showed improved a lot in order to be capable of causing an upset against Manchester United.
If it all he wants to go with an option other than a Manchester United win, Owen recommends backing a draw at the best. Owen says left closed with also went on to say that he was left surprised with BetVictor reducing the odds for a Manchester United title win from a long 7/2 to a relatively short 11/4. He says that backing United for the title is still attractive at this stage.
“I was impressed with United against West Ham on Sunday but they need to back it up against a Swansea side who didn’t have a shot on target at St Mary’s on Matchday One, and may have been a shade fortunate to come away with a point. The Swans have never kept a clean sheet in their 12 previous Premier League games against the Red Devils and Jose Mourinho’s side were irresistible at times against the Hammers at Old Trafford,” said Michael Owen.
